As a child RG had always been surrounded by art.
A California native, RG was born in south Los Angeles. His father would constantly draw and send him art that he himself would strive to emulate. After moving to Orange County at the age of 19, RG sought out a body art apprenticeship. And by combining skills learned from a previous mentor and coworkers around him, his technical abilities in fine-line black and grey tattooing became strong. Before becoming a tattooist, RG studied body piercing and became a master of the craft. RG’s knowledge of tattooing and piercing continues to grow to this day.
